WORLD WATER DAY celebrated every 22nd March. This year the theme focuses on water for cities. Cities will be densely populated and has a range of activities on going at always. Increase in population will always reflect increased demand for water and production of wastewater. In this cycle, the city population depends highly on innovative ways to fight pollution as well as securing a good sanitation.
As for Association of Water and Energy Research Malaysia (AWER), we will continue to fight to ensure water security not only in cities but also for Malaysia as whole. Please read the following article which was released by Bernama in conjunction with World Water Day 2011 that carries our inputs.
